I found the tree 'stumps' in front strange. I thought they looked like dancing Monkeys. As I was trying to enhance the color, I accidentally made them black in white instead of the background. Although I tried all different combinations, I really liked the Dancing Monkey's black and white best.
This tree was way up a really tall hill with no way to get to it. But from way below, it looked like a dead person shape when I saw it on the computer. I tried to darken the shape of the 'person' side to make it stand out.
This is one of the fullest spider webs I encountered. I loved how dense it was and how the one leaf was attached to a spider string

This snake was slithering across the Discovery Trail down by the Elwha River went I was coming back from my photography adventure. I almost stepped on him and he slithered across to fast for me to realize my exposure was off so couldn't get a good picture on the cement. But he stopped on the side and posed for me. I ended up blurring everything but him in Photoshop as I ran out of time to change settings before he left.
This is a really interesting plant that I was trying to capture different parts with the macro lens. This was my favorite.
This one is one of my favorites. While I was trying to get as many macro photos as I could, this one stood out to me with the location of the inner part of the flower. While playing with the focus, I didn't see everything in the middle of this flower til I got home and got it on the computer. Now I'd like to know if my friend was still alive in this!
